
Ms. Knott is the managing partner of Pate and Knott, Attorneys at Law, and has been engaged in the practice of law since 2003. Her experience in the legal field extends beyond her years of practice, with Ms. Knott working in the legal profession since 1995. Her practice is focused in domestic litigation, including divorces, child custody, child support, paternity actions, civil litigation, and personal injury cases, and mediation.
She conducts hundreds of mediation sessions each year and assists parties in reaching a resolution to their disputes prior to litigation. She has been asked to give seminars on mediation and the benefits the process provides to attorneys and their clients.
Ms. Knott is admitted to practice in Tennessee state courts, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Ms. Knott received her undergraduate degree in political science, with a pre-law emphasis, from Middle Tennessee State University in 1999, and received a doctorate of jurisprudence from the Nashville School of Law in 2003, and practices law on the historic square in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
